Improve Your Relationship with Yourself

Individual therapy that helps you reconnect with yourself

Strengthening your relationship with yourself can improve your life satisfaction and deepen your connection with others. Unfortunately, many women feel like they’re losing touch with their true selves. You may be struggling to create the life you want and find yourself longing for more. Trying to manage self-doubt, low self-esteem, or this feeling that you’re “not good enough” can be draining, isolating, and overwhelming. Additionally, it can be challenging to reach out for help. Yet, you know your life can be more fulfilling.

For instance, you may crave more:

  • Meaningful connections with others (and yourself)

  • Courage to pursue your dreams (instead of what you think you “should” do)

  • Confidence in yourself

  • Self-acceptance (and a quieter inner critic that allows you to learn to move on from mistakes)

Your relationship with yourself is perhaps the most important one you’ll ever have.

No one else can be there for you like you can be there for yourself. The more you connect with and love yourself, the easier it is to show up authentically in your other relationships, work, and everyday life.  Our work together can help you create a deeper, more fulfilling relationship with yourself.

When you improve your relationship with yourself through therapy, you learn how to:

  • Feel empowered and trust yourself

  • Recognize and embrace your strengths

  • Make decisions that honor your needs

  • Manage your inner critic, so it doesn’t derail you

  • Identify your needs and set boundaries so you feel less resentment

  • Experience more satisfying relationships

How My Therapy Approach Works

Each step of therapy is personalized to your needs and unique situation.

We’ll work together to help you identify your goals and build a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel safe and heard.

1. Schedule your free consultation

The first step is for you to schedule your free consultation call. We’ll discuss what’s bringing you to therapy at this time.

2. Explore your present relationship with yourself

Together, we’ll examine the relationship you have with yourself, how past events are impacting you at present, triggers that contribute to self-doubts, and what you want your life to look like.

3. Master your mindset

We’ll focus on building awareness of your self-love blocks, how they impact you, and practice strategies to help you manage self-critical thoughts more effectively.

4. Become more grounded and connected with yourself

You’ll learn key tools and strategies tailored to your unique needs to help you learn assertive communication skills, set boundaries, manage anxiety or frustration when self-critical thoughts occur, and strengthen your self-compassion.

5. Building on your strengths

We’ll identify and build on your strengths to help you increase your self-confidence and trust in yourself.

6. Working towards mastery

We’ll monitor and check in on your progress as you build your confidence. You’ll have a safe, supportive space to work through problems or questions as you gain mastery of your new skills and knowledge about yourself.
